"This drawing of Michael Jordan is exactly what I like to portray in my work. That is the action without physical action. Now there is of course physical action in this piece with him reaching high above the basket, but I decided to leave the ball and his hands out of the drawing to keep the focus on his face. The intense action that comes through from his eyes to the ball is what makes this picture work for me. "
